Introduction to the various products in our range....
HEAVY DUTY LOCKERS
Heavy Duty lockers are designed for harsh industrial environments. We’ve made them extra tough to withstand above average wear and tear. They are perfect for use in the changing rooms of collieries, steel works, foundries and other heavy industrial applications. To make them extra tough, we use steel that is extra thick. The carcass is over 70% thicker than for a standard carcass; the door, the part of the locker that comes in for the most ‘punishment’, is nearly three times thicker than on a standard door.We also use tough 5-knuckle hinges to fasten the doors to the carcass and mount an extra strong heavy duty lock to each door.
The range comes in a choice of footprints and door configurations. There is a choice of 300mm (w) by 300mm (d) units as well as 300mm (w) by 450 mm (d) units. In both sizes of footprint, there is a choice of doors, from single tier to six tier lockers. In between each compartment there is a tough shelf which is highly resistant to unauthorised entry to the compartment beneath.
For dry environments, we make Heavy Duty Lockers using mild steel. For wet or moist environments we recommend a rust resistant zinc coated steel for greater longevity.
All our Heavy Duty Lockers are finished with an attractive gloss powder coating which includes Germ Guard. Not only does this make them easy to clean, but provides protection for the users. Germ Guard is an antibacterial paint that is proven to reduce the spread of E.coli and MRSA.
